How often should I apply Smoke Tech?

The frequency of application depends on the plant’s microbiological profile, environmental monitoring history, area criticality, and process seasonality. As a general recommendation, applications may be carried out weekly or biweekly, always considering the results of routine microbiological monitoring and the unit’s control strategy.

How long after fumigation can I resume production?

After the recommended product contact time, from 1 to 7 hours, according to the application protocol, it is recommended to open and ventilate the area for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. This allows residual smoke to dissipate and operational conditions in the environment to be restored. After this period, the area may be released for operational return.

Can I apply the product with food and/or people in the area?

No. In accordance with good manufacturing practices and applicable regulatory guidelines, the application must take place without direct exposure of food, open packaging, or people in the area. The recommendation is to perform the procedure in a controlled environment, ensuring operational safety and maximum application efficiency.

How can I measure the microbiological efficiency of the application?

Efficiency should be monitored through the plant’s environmental monitoring program, using methodologies already adopted by the unit, such as:
